Where Do You See Yourself in 5 Years – How to Answer This Interview Question Effectively

“Where do you see yourself in five years?” When an interviewer asks you this, you may be thinking, “moving up the ranks,” “running this place,” or “not here!” While these answers may be honest, they aren't things you should say out loud in an interview. So then how do you be honest without blowing it?

One of my listeners posed this question and today I will be sharing my best insights into why this question is commonly asked, and how to respond in a way that gets to ‘yes'.
